Day 6 - Still Waiting

Another day just sitting around in port waiting for interesting things to happen. I think I have failed so far to give some important details about the quality of life on the ship, so I'll fix that now. While in port, we can't dump any waste water, so we got this fun note posted on our doors:

This was written by a man who is not on day three of his period, so I'll tell you we're still flushing. But it does mean we're all getting stinky. So I went on a sidequest, where a bunch of us gals went to the one hotel room that someone could find and blissfully got to shower. We hung out on the beach while we waited for each other, so it really wasn't so bad. There were more whales off in the distance, they seem very active here. I never have my binoculars when I need them >:(

After getting all cleaned up, we got dinner at a night market which was hoppin and fun. I could tell you about the food and people and music, but instead I'm gonna make you look at this bird. It's a pacific reef heron.
