Day 7/8 - IDK what day it is already

It's almost time y'all, we leave bright and early tomorrow morning! We expect the seas to be really rough, so keep me in your hearts and know that I'm having a bad time. Here's a final glamor shot before we leave port:

Science things are starting to happen. NOAA officers dove under the ship to fix the sound velocity probe, and I set up a microscope. One of us is more badass than the other, but I don't want the divers to feel bad, their work is important too. I've also been running around strapping everything down with bungee cords before we get underway. Next step is gonna be gobbling some dramamine tonight.

We had our MOST beautiful dinner so far. The hostess sat us down and was really worried and asked if the table would be okay. Like ma'am I've never sat somewhere more beautiful for dinner, this will work just fine.

Then I ate too much tiramisu and made my stomach upset. Just another day in the life though. It's about to get a whole lot worse anyways.
