Thank you for joining me as I adventure across the South Pacific Ocean in this highly anticipated blog. Taking inspiration from my dear grandpa, who has diligently blogged all of his cycling expeditions, I thought this would be a fun way to keep everyone involved.
For 29 days I'll be sailing around the Cook Islands, helping to preserve and catalog samples collected by the ship from the deep sea. For those who don't know where the Cook Islands are, they're here-ish:

Until the ship sets sail, I'll be staying on the island of Rarotonga, enjoying the palm trees and what I estimate to be 1.3 billion chickens (see my lunch companion).

Thank you for following along!

Let's gooooo! I'm stoked this is coming to fruition. Enjoy your tropical paradise (and the chickens)
So fun! Can’t wait to read more!
